He possesses deep expertise in prosecuting patent applications in Japan for international clients, as well as orchestrating complex foreign filings and prosecution strategies for Japanese clients in the US, Europe, China, Korea, and other jurisdictions. His technical strengths cover industrial engineering, automotive technology, battery technology, and medical devices.
A distinctive asset is his ability to bridge language barriers; he provides nuanced Japanese–English and English–Japanese patent translations that minimize legal risks and ensure strict technical consistency across borders. He cultivates strong relationships with patent attorneys worldwide, regularly engaging in international conferences to optimize the firm’s global network.
Recognized for his excellence in prosecution and client service, he was ranked “Silver – Individuals: Prosecution (Patent)” by IAM Patent 1000 in 2025.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, he is a devoted father of two boys and is passionate about supporting his sons’ soccer activities on weekends.
