Patent Attorney
Ryoji Hirase received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University. He began his professional career at an automobile manufacturer, where he worked for approximately seven years before entering the intellectual property profession.
With more than three decades of experience in the intellectual property field, Ryoji has supported a diverse range of clients — from major global corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises. His practice covers a broad spectrum of technical areas, including the automobile industry, timepieces, printers, and related mechanical technologies. Drawing on this extensive background, he offers practical and business-focused strategies that have earned the long-standing trust of his clients.
In recognition of his contributions to the field, Ryoji was selected as a Notable Practitioner in IP Stars 2025, a distinction that reflects his dedication and achievements in intellectual property law.
Outside the office, he is a devoted father of two sons and enjoys spending time with his family.
